I took a road trip from Seattle, WA to Lakeview, OR. Lakeview is my father’s home town and where I spent my summer vacations from the time I was 6 until I was 13. I haven’t been there since my grandmother’s funeral in 1987. Not much has changed. A few places closed, a few opened, but it was mostly unchanged.
